FLARE Mini | Going Green

Caveman, llc has come up with a simple way to tell you if your barrel is safe and ready to be stored. The FLARE Mini is placed on your barrel after removing the flash suppressor. It starts off brown in color and changes to bright green when the temperature of your barrel exceeds 131 degrees Fahrenheit. As the barrel cools to a safe temperature it changes back to brown.

Installation

The FLARE Mini™ is designed to stretch to fit your application. Over- stretching can cause the ring to snap. When in doubt, remove any objects at the end of the barrel that may impede application. Place the FLARE Mini™ over the barrel in the desired position. Close proximity to the gas block is preferable as this is often the hottest part of your barrel. Replace your flash hider or muzzle brake as directed by manufacturer.
